Reviews about Dr. G S Robinson

  • I would recommend Dr Robinson to anyone! He is a very nice and very approachable and caring psychiatrist who I have never felt judged by and only cared for. He is always given me very good advice about my problems and is quite insightful into my ADHD disability, which he currently prescribes my medication for and although he does charge, I have realised that he is pretty much a very high and stringent quality psychiatrist who has always treated me with respect as a patient and I am quite happy with his service. Also, his receptionist Tara is a very lovely and friendly person and it's always a pleasure to see him when I need a new script for my meds.

Do not Approach this Clinic for Help in your Mental Health Plan. I booked an. appointment with this Clinic and they did not provide me any information by email text or phone call to remind me of my upcoming appointment. I am Suffering with an undiagnosed mental illness and forgot about my appointment when my phone alarm reminded Me that Morning, I was Unable to afford the cost and In Tears I Left a voice mail in the hope they can change it. When i called I Spoke to Tara who proceeded to Tell me Despite my financial and emotional struggle that I have to pay a $170 cancellation fee (which is more than the consult fee itself) before I see their Psychiatrist.. This triggered a emotional and mental anxiety for me.. She showed no remorse and proceeded to quote their policy despite no one Making me Aware Of it to Begin With. This clinic is terrible with organising steps to remind clients of Upcoming appointments. Also it is one thing to be professional but another to also be human. She was not kind to me in understanding that they faulted and So should have wavered the fee so they I can Get The help I Need For Myself and For My Family. (as financial hardship is a part of my my stress triggering my condition) It Would be more Understandable If She sent a Email after speaking to me ensuring I Understand that if it happened again there will be a cancellation fee and then sending a kind text at least 48hours beforehand to remind me that my appointment is coming up and Kind reaffirming this idea about cancellation fees Then they have proof that she Made Me Aware but she didn't so she had no proof but still refused to waver the fee. She just hung up on me Because she didn't like hearing The truth. As a clinic that's suppose to manage mental illnessnesses, I propose you change your strategies because people suffering mental. Illness is known to be forgetful and throwing cancellation fees on people could be the last straw to make a person commit suicide. Luckily I am not suicidal but for many others they are. People call you for help so be helpful be professional with your policy practices and procedures. Remind people of appointments and treat people with kindness understanding and flexibility according to their current situation. This clinic is run poorly and just money hungry they don't care about People at all.
